Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Mini Unveiled – The first information for what appears to be the first Asus Tablet with 7-inch screen arriving at the next CES 2012. As many know, the Eee Memo Pad, shown and announced several months ago, has never been commercially released and its release seemed to be postponed to early 2012. Now comes the image you see above a hypothetical Asus Transformer Prime Mini 7 inch, unconfirmed as of course, that could change the tables.

ASUS has announced that the Eee Pad Memo will be out in January now that it’s throwing a little forgotten with 3D, so it is likely that this is not like this version will be too late to have a design tweak on it. Announced a new version of the memo before actually releasing the original just look like a strange idea as well, so I liked the next choice.

The prospect is more interesting is that this is basically the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Mini that will cram the power of Tegra 3 processor into a package (either geeky-pocket). I question the name because I am not so sure about the keyboard is a wee dock to pair up with 7-inch tablet, but once again if anyone has experience with making sure the ASUS’ little keyboard.

This new tablet could leave in place the Eee Pad Memo, and therefore be in some way its evolution and go to attack a very important market that sees so many competitors in the game and very attractive prices. No detailed feature has emerged at the time, but a dual core processor, ASUS seems to at least target the Ice Cream Sandwiches for all the tablets they are going forward, but depends on the date of release is very likely that this will come with Honeycomb and the Android 4.0 maybe as an upgrade, 1GB of RAM and IPS screen should not be missed. The price seems to be less than $299 maybe no 3G.
